It’s simple, I want to get as many people in our community to experience different cultures through international travel as possible.
I want to provide a travel option where like-minded travelers can meet on the journey to broaden our horizons and expand our exposure to new experiences.

In 2018, I took my first (and last) group trip to Thailand. It wasn’t very organized from the start and it just got worse upon arrival. Deciding we did NOT come all the way here for nothing, I worked on getting us the trip we wanted within our trip.

That experience taught me two things, first trust my gut I’ve been traveling and planning for my friends since 2005 I should have done this myself. Secondly, and probably most importantly, once you’ve traveled to a place like Thailand, how you view yourself and your trips is forever changed.

I want others in my community to feel that feeling. I don’t want fear or price to be a factor as to why someone doesn’t see the world. That is the reason I started Black and Traveled
